Got this phrase from DBS but I did some slight alterations to it.After that Lehman incident they seems to become more cautious with those small little astricks ***** that they always use. Furthermore, I find that those tiny little words that used to be readable only when placed under the lens is really magnified for easy refernece.

Perhaps I am seeing things(at some blogs that don't belong to our class) but nevermind it is a fact, that seems to make me feel inferior again.
-.-
K, back to Pjc, erm...... what can I say another a newer and bigger version Toh Tuck campus , with a kampong looking stretch of road that leads to its main gate.I used to walk there once in awhile when my primary school was shifted there, but it is really a long long stretch of road la, thats something I can guarantee.
Should I take 190 or LRT or take LRT then transfer to 190 ??? But still very far, haizzz what ulu place is that. They should have built the school next to this empty plot of land beside the HDB I am living in. Then it can be bigger also, and more importantly more accessible to me. hahhah
Athough I am betraying my own promise of going to poly if I have a C for english, I still feel more like going to JC. Afterall by doing this I still can have more time to consider what I am going to be eventually, whether I am really fixed idea of being an .......... for the rest of my life.
Vietnam gathering today !!!
Pj, WX, jeremy & I met at Bukit Timah market, the one near Pei Hua pri one,for breakfast. Although it is like a short or rather mere 2 hours meeeting, it is really like a lasting meeting before we seprate our ways?? Should have taken photos but......
Anyway, WX had vegetarian bee hoon cum tau hua, Jermy had satay bee hoon, PJ had tau hua with soya milk. As for me, wanton mee with tau hua. Then chit chat all the way to bukit timah plaza, the one with fairprice finest where wen xin was looking at all sorts of cerals, oats & every other things thats healthy. Then she left. (I felt like saying again hahhah) Leaving me jeremy & pei jun to comb that shopping center. Almost bump into my aunt(I will cut that part out or else I might end up sprouting bad stuff again)
Then me and pei jun without jeremy, cause probably he's attracted to his ama's house's ang pao, went Lot 1 to walk walk. After awhile her friends came and I left, to buy food. Then went home.
Wen Xin, jeremy, Pei jun we must stay in contact ok! If possible organise another trip to vietnam when we are older :) will miss the days when we r together one , all the best in your future endeavours :)

Phew, finally, everyone left. First was 四姨's family, next was 小叔's family. My mum and I wasn't really expacting anyone to come thus my house wasnt really prepared. But nevermind, 自己人,不用客气 this was what they say.
四姨 came with her husband, her son,(my cousin) and 2 grandsons that is so so cute. (my nephews is it?)The boy was like a ang mo thats curious with everything especially my toys, while the girl was like dozing away. Then chit chat and finally my results. I was told that JJC used to have a cut off point of 19. Furthermore I was encouraged to try something better like cjc. Then as for the ang paos, hahhah, it was much better than those usual $4 ones that I used to recieve all this while.Back to that cute little ang moh, belonging to my 四姨's 2nd daughter, was so so cubby and cute, he was like playing, wandering around, talking sweets and seems to be enjoying himself while the adults were chit chatting. As for the little princess, she was was sleeping, but managed to cry out in the end for sweets. hahhah so cute.
As for 小叔, the well off one, was here moments ago with her two daughters and a son(my cousins), all above the age of 22, with the exception of one aged 18.This is the troublesome one. They kept asking this & that about my results, so just say lor. They come the wah, ...............
But at the same time I was also surprised to learnt that anglo used to have cut off point of 10 I think for arts stream.
But I was quite glad to hear this from one of my cousin, dun bother about your classmates...... hahhah
Perhaps, I will just pay a visit to my 三姨'shouse this saturday, afterall I got nothing much to say le. By then news would have reached every coner of my mother's family. As for the buffet on sunday we see about it.
K, enough for today le.

As usual, my family took the routine route every new year. First stop was Da gu's house, followed by tua pek's house, ama 's house, then sa kim's house, temple, ending off with xi ku'shouse.
But I find it pretty werid and bored going around to people's house because there's practically no teenagers around. It is either working adults, retired, seniors or babies and children, none off them will have a common topic with me. & I have rised to another new position this year-堂叔, call until I so old like that -.-
Then there is this even more boring part. At about 3pm like that when my ama's house is simply packed with too many relatives, and I somehow dun wan to go address them, I just hide inside my cousin's room. hehheh, but ang pao will still come in one lol.
Also, there's the usual scene of 三姑六婆, (my ama got 4 daugthers, 5 daughter in laws & many more countless grand childrens), giving out ang pao until, they themselves gets a headache.
If not I will be sitting down there quitely on the sofa, while people older than me kept bringing me food & drinks calling me to eat and drink more. Because they say I too skiny le, must eat more -.-;
But funny enough no one actually really digged into my ugly results, which sorts of saves me tonnes of trouble.
Temple at bencoolen street, is as usual, cramped with nothing but people. The crowd is like worst than sardine cans. At least inside sardine cans one still gets to find tomato sauce in it. But down there I doubt any sauce can be squeezed in.
That's about it I think.

Frankly speaking, I am pretty shocked at what that da gu said just now. She actually didnt ask a single thing with regards to the Os instead she wished me all the best in my studies next year, it was like she never said that before. Perhaps, now on second thoughts, I did the right thing back then, which is to ward off the xiao gu, by hanging up her phone. I know it is pretty bad of me but, it is a right decision, afterall, she had not been courteous towards me either.
Steamboat just now, is like not bad but, somehow, I felt that something is missing. As for the soup , it gets sweeter and sweeter as you boil it with more or rather new ingridents. Some nutrionist once said that the sweetness or rather the rich taste originated from the fats released by the ingridents added to the food. Thus making the soup base high in cholestrol & fats. But who cares, it is like once in a year or rather twice/thrice in a year I get to eat them.
Haizz, i didnt get to the shop in time for more pineapple tarts this year, anyone kind enough to spare me some hahhah joking.
All the best everyone, be like a bull- hardworking not stuborn, and success would be there awaiting for us. :) 新年快乐!
希望明年会更好, 我呢能步步高升,万事顺心如意.

k, I am terribly full now after eating like 3 servings of reunion dinner hahhah....... greedy right . The food is like stuffed all the way up to my oesophagus le. The steamboat soup is super sweet ok! Think I should get some excerise after 2nd day of CNY, cause I feel pretty sinful after drinking those cholestrol filled soup & pineapple tarts (my all time favourite).......
Tomorrow, ang pao day, I will be eating & collecting. I am too full to think of anymore stuff to blog for now. Maybe later la.

Nothing much thats interesting happened today.Did alot of sorting out, clearing and cleaning today. Read National Geographic on gold. I was pretty shocked to discover that, in order to extract enough gold for only a small simple ring, 250 tonnes of rocks and ore needs to be removed. If it is true that 161000 tons of gold is the exact numerical figure of gold avaliable on this earth, then it would be like dunno how many trillions of kgs of earth would be dugged out!
K, enough on gold. I spent about an hour or so cleaning leaves. Maybe it sounds as though I am insane to "clean" leaves but that was what I did from 2-3.30 pm.
Almost every leaf of this dunno what evergreen plant on my boucanony, is like covered with a layer of 0.05cm thick of dust, making it look a little dull and withered. In order to clean it but not drown it in water, I got no other alternatives but to use tissue paper to clean the 30 over leaves, manually. -.-

Went out today with jeremy Pei jun & Wen Xin to chinatown, for Vietnam gang gathering. It is like super dam cramp ok! Lunch was taken at Maxwell. Well I would say that it is a place filled with more than food drinks but it is also packed with people ! After lunch was an aimless walk about chinatown.
Next, stop was Vivo city. I would like to say that the first step into it actually reminded me of Aeon Tebaru City- Jusco in malaysia(I think is about 1.5X of Vivo). They look almost alike just that being in Singapore, where land is precious, you don't get something as wide and as tall as in malaysia. Furthermore, things at jusco is priced in terms of ringgit, which seems more reasonable as compared to those on display at Vivo.
Initially we started out with some window shopping & stuff. Then eventually we found ourselves at giant and Candy empire, as PJ,jer& WX were looking for cheaper alternatives of sweets for me. But I still prefer those at M&S.
As usual WX left, after the visit to candy empire. While me, pei jun and jeremy continued combing the mall.
Then at DIASO, PJ saw this dunno what fake eyelash, which is like so long &.......... But in the end she didnt buy anything-.-
Went home at abt 6+pm

20 January 2009, it doesnt really seems to be as auspicious as what I have thought of........
Set off at around 10.45a.m to bukit timah. Then my mum started queuing up, it takes super long lar, like half an hour. And I am really shocked at how people deposites stuff. There is this old man, who queued at the pirority lane. And guessed what he pulled out a red opaque Esprit plastic bag and place it at the cashiers desk. After that stacks and stacks of genuine $50 notes were drawn out. I was like my goodness.................
Over at the otherside the $50 scene did not reappear again. But I was quite glad with the service because. Because they actually sort of reserved a lane specially for the senior citizens(people above 50, but sadly my mum doesnt qualify for this category or else I did be happy cause queue is freaking long ok). & to my surprised, the cashiers actually handed out lexus biscuits to the elders.
Then went take lunch. My mum ordered this dunno what double boil duck soup which seems cold or warm to me. So stupidly I just scoop a spoonful of it, and put it in my mouth. The soup is burning hot ok! Although it is not giving out any steam or water vapour, it is enough to scald my tounge! (Advice to all be it cold or hot, blow before you eat !)
Then it was my turn to settle stuffs liao. I find it quite funny one. Especially at the sight of the cashier counting my 70 $1 coins. hahhah, it was terribly funny sia. Even the cashier ended up advicing me to bring notes instead of coins next time. hahhah
Next stop was Singapore mint at Teban Gardens. K, noting interesting cause I have seen their in house exhibt countless times liaozzz.
But the return journey was a "suay" one. After crossing the overhead bridge, there is this stretch of trees, which I seriously recomend the authorities to chop off!! Because while passing by that stretch of tress, bird shit is actually released from those stupid birds on the trees onto my left eye!! I was like -.- why me.
Nevermind so no choice lor, I have to o home first, leaving the last stop NTUC to my mother. hahhah
k, thats about it for oday liaoz.

Actually now on second thoughts I hope holidays could be longer, not just by abit but just let holidays be extended longer. I dont really feel like going to school in about 2 weeks time. I felt that I am not prepared yet.
Someday I would really like to have a holiday without parents, perhaps with friends that I trust or alone, overseas, away from Singapore....... haizzz
Tomorrow is really busy day for me. My mum thought that Singapore's public system is so effecient, that she intends to go to Bukit Timah, then Jurong East followed by Teban Garden and finally Clementi. -.- I wonder if she could really make it.
Anyway hope that I will have a good time tomorrow. hahhah

I wonder what auspicious date is this coming tuesday.(农历十二月二十五) Everyone including my mum intends to go out. To date I have recieved three offers asking me to go out. The offers are listed below in order.
1) My mum asked me to go out with her. Buy stuff and get stuff.
2) Wen Xin organised a tennis cum pinic session, which involves potluck.
3) Nicholas (lim) asking me to go sentosa. (at abt 11pm)
Due to these unforseen circumstances, I have decided to decline the offers made by Wen Xin and Nicholas, so that I don't appear to take sides. But more importantly, sorry guys, I really need to make this trip out with my mum for some private matters.
yew cheng signing off

K, maybe I am ready to say all these now.
Os are officially over. But I am not satisfied, neither am I happy. But life still goes on..........
Actually intended to chose PJC as first choice one, but on second thoughts, maybe I will try the what people call pregnant school. Afterall it seems to be a better place to be in with better teachers and students, I suppose. Followed by the play play JJ .
And since I am bounded by my hopeless L1R5 I decided to play around with my equally, if not better L1R4, if the above 3 options were not granted by those high end, mind reading machines that MOE is using to overcome the problem of manpower shortages.
If I were to be forced to fool around with the L1R4s, I would like to have accountancy and nothing else. As what mun kit had said, I will appeal into accountancy no matter what.
But to my dismay, if I would like to use the L1R4 as a permit to enter the accountancy course I would only be able to enter it with a point of 11 instead of 10. Which is like I will be in the last class for that batch -.-lll
Haizz, I hate decisions making. They always gives me troubles, headache and nothing else.
K, since o levels is history already. Lets talk about carlton hotel. It is becoming weirder and weirder. I never know that they could actually set up a ballroom, filled with 30+++ tables within an hour and actually sort of cleaned the place within such a small time frame. And the efficency of that place is seriously going down.I have heard of some stories that really stunned me. As for me,I am getting more or less used to the environment but I still don't know how to use that big oval tray.
Enough of Carlton. I am looking forward to next week. I am almost fully booked everyday, dealing with CNY stuff & gathering hahhah. By the way, I am watching Shin Chan every day to kill time. Currently, I am at episode 187.
O ya also, people out there I am fine le. Thanks for the well wishes. Please don't believe those nonsensical rumors spread by Ronald that I am EMO. & RONALD LAM STOP TELLING PEOPLE THAT I AM EMO LIAOZZ

Yesterday was fun for me as I was in malaysia, Johore, doing shopping from 12 noon - 10.26pm (I leave malaysia customs).
It was my first time going shopping in Johore and it was fun. My mother brother , I and the other 42 people went giant at Plentong and Aeon Tebaru Jusco. Not bad brought quite alot of things at prices lower than singapore. But I think secret recipe was best buy. Their cakes tastes so good and surprisingly, they does not give me that sinful and heavy feeling although the cakes were creamy and rich tasting.
K, I am not in the mood to dwell on malaysia. I thought if I was not informed about judgement date beforehand, I could have enjoyed the trip to its fullest, but nevermind.
Today went to ama's house & aunts house to give new years gifts. And yeah as I have expected, "tomorrow u taking results le right?"was what I heard. And theres this uncle who used to be a chinese teacher even surprised me by asking, "hows your chinese?" I was so shocked and speechless. And he actually guessed my results and make a big fussed out of it!!!! I was like -.-llll
Nevermind enough of my stories.
As for tomorrow, I bet everyone would either be wishing for the best to happen, or be like me wishing for a miracle. All the best to those taking their results tomorrow! :) abt 13+++ hours to go :)

As for tomorrow, I bet everyone would either be wishing for the best to happen, or be like me wishing for a miracle. All the best to those taking their results tomorrow! :) abt 13+++ hours to go :)

Today, I and Jeremy went down to NJC. Followed by CJC, with the addition of pei jun.
AJC gave me a, I wont say bad, but rather I would say a not really a fantastic impression. Intially, I find it to be a friendly school to be in due to the warm and welcoming ushers, and students. But later on, at the Q&A session with the three, physics chemistry and biology, teachers, this impression of NJ being a friendly school was almost totally abolished. The three teachers that we sort of consluted were really, 带有彩色眼镜!Below is a brief description of what actually happened.(YC- yew cheng, J- jeremy, P- the fat physics teacher in black if i am not wrong, B- the quiet youngest biology looking teacher out of the three, C- the old chemistry teacher) * p.s bear in mind that the above three teachers are all woman !
Hi
YC: erm heard that biology is pretty diffcult in JC, and there are like tonnes of things to memorize is it true??
P: huh , (looked at me with this funny eye contact) who say one, that is not always the case. I can just give u a small thin stack of notes, and you will research the rest yourself.
YC: ok -.-lll
J: some of my teachers say it is good to take up as many courses as possible, is it true?
P, C, B: (laughing and shocked but P answered) no, u must first be able handle the bascis. Which school are your from?
J: Bukit Batok Secondary school
Here is the look down part. The chemistry teacher shake her head and was actually sort of sighing away quietly, physics teacher actually laughed as though mocking us like that.
YC: Is it possible to take H2 chemistry in arts ?
P: maybe. Are you are pure chem student??
YC: Pure
P: huh, or combine science ?
YC: (-.- I was like didnt I say pure?)pure
C: No not possible to. Although we have that combination but we wont open class as most people will not opt for it.What are you doing in the future
YC: Accountancy in university
C: Then u better take arts.
This is only part of the conversation.
But I realise that they didnt tell me everything. I find out at CJC that , it is possible to take economics, maths, chemistry all at H2 level, and I can be in the art stream. And the maths consultant in CJC actually recomended me to take H2 econs as I want to be an accountancy. Furthermore, I was sort of the assured that this course would be avaliable , if I want to have it.
CJC, is where most doubts were cleared and the teachers there appears to be more approchable.

Actually seriously speaking I am quite confused over which path I should eventually choose. Especially after going for SP & NAP open house today.
I dont know la, but after that detailed almost one to one talk with the kind Accounting lecturer of SP(which took about 0.5 +++ hours) I confessed that I was quite impressed with what she told me. And at a point find poly a maybe choice. But on second thoughts I would maybe reconsider the option cause I really dun like the study environment!!!
That lecturer actually talked about what and how the course would be liked & what we would eventually do and deal with when we are admitted. She even provided me information with regards to accountancy course in SMU which is something I sort of have in mind for. But I find the job choices avaliable to me , if I were to pick up accoutancy, is rather limted to Audit, or accounts. Which I am still not really sure if these are what I want to do for the next half of my life.
Next stop of the day was Ngee Ann Poly. After lunch, we still headed to the bussiness & mangement side. And ya, I was shocked to find out that they are offering 370 (if I am not wrong) places for acconting . I was like -.- OMG U mean I will eventually have to fight with like thousands of other accountants, this means that accountants are not really guaranteed a so called " gold or metallic rice bowl" what.
After that I & wen xin went to the covention hall. Down there dunno why we bumped into humanties and I was actually surprised by what they offer. Chnese studies, child psycology or something so new la. Then there is this property lecturer who tells us whole lot of good things about their property coures, but when we were shocked by the pay $1800 only??
As for the other courses, like biomedical & what offshore marine engineering we will see how la.
Somewhere in my heart is actually telling me that, if I dont make a decision now, I would be even more confused and panicky than ever before in my life, when the time comes. But then some part of my brain tells me to make a backup plan just in case of emergency, which I hope would never be used.
My instincts tells me that poly is not my cup of tea, because somehow it gives me an impression of more play than work. If I were to be enrolled there I could just get lost in the land of fun and laughters.
But the other part of my brain hinted to me that I am interested in accountancy, and I should not try JC whereby with my lousy english standards will eventually bestow me with either a horrible experience there or a tragic ending eventually. But if I were to head for poly, will I get into a university eventually? And am I really sure that accountancy is the thing I want to spend with for the other half of my life ???
If i dont want to think about the future yet, JC seems to be an easy option, but I dread about the GP, which I think will ultimately lead me to horrible death! Cause I like economics, maybe chemistry & i will do all those funny maths also hahhah. I had even thought of the cca I want le, AVA thats what I will try! If I miss cameras, then I will go back to photography.
But for now I think more importantly get the results on monday first. Most probably I will let english decide but somehow, the instincts are there le. I just hoped english & humanities are alright!! Then maybe things will be alright afterall.

Funny I just recieved this navy letter, it states that " THE NAVY PUTS YOUR FUTURE ON COURSE WITH A GUARANTEED CAREER AND A FREE EDUCATION".
I was like huh, what do I have to do with navy, and how on earth they know my address huh? so funny I have been recieveing werid werid letters. First is MOE emailing me to ask if i want to attend talk and become teacher. Now, is the navy sending invitation for free poly course. What will be next?? so funny one.Perhaps MAS could send me a scholarship, I would gladly accept it hahhah.
& the polys send me this funny little electromagnet parts that I need to cook up myself.
My brother is crazy over that ponyo show, -.- ....
BTW, the news offically declared 12 Jan as Judegement day le. I know that it is wrong to have this feeling now, but I am like feeling nothing yet, dunno why. But I did hope that I could be mentally prepared for the worst. My mum said this just now when she heard the news. 事以成定局,不要太担心. I was like pretty happy to hear that, but somehow, ayo dunno why, I think my dad is not thinking that way.

Boring. It is funny to be at home when my brother is in school, I will just sit in front of a computer or a laptop & stare into space Sleeping at 12 mid night and waking up on at 10.30 am is so routine for me nowadays. lying down on the bed any time earlier would only invite unwanted thoughts that keep stirring around in my head. On the other hand waking up any time earlier meant fatigue for the whole day.
Sleep - Eat - slack - Eat - TV - Sleep A boring cycle. Nowonder I seems to enjoy going out more nowadays. & yes I have been going out rather frequently and depleting my federal reserves like what US is doing. haizzz.
But somehow I thought theres still quite alot of things that I have yet to buy. A collared shirt, jeans, shoes & many many more. O ya, some day I should head down to Singapore Mint and take a look at the coins avaliable for this year.
seriously thers nothing much left to talk about for now.

2nd pay day for this holiday
Yeh, pretty happy now. Cause I just recieve my pay, from the government. hahhah.
Reached to Zhenghua community center at 1.30pm, for the presentation at 2.00pm. I gave the receptionist the letter, collected the "numbered" sticker and then went in and sit le.Singaporeans are like , so good at being late. Although it was clearly written in the letter that we need to be there 45 minutes before hand, which is some lie the CC cooked up several years ago( afterall that was what they had being writting all these years), the thing didnt really start at 2.00pm sharp,as not everyone was there yet. So wait lor, even though the boss that mayor or something was here le.
But seriously I find that the CC organising the event has become more time effecient le. At least they split the presentation into two time slots, one at 2.00pm the other one 4.00pm, which reduces the time we need to wait. I still remember the first time when I was primary 5, back then, it was Gan Kim Yong that gave the pay, super dam long, I sat there for about 3.5 hours, in this unconditioned hall of ZHSS. hahhah
K, when the thing starts, the VIP, Dr Teo Ho Pin, wah, his speech super fast one lor, finish like within 5 minutes, as usual he sort of repeated what he said last year hahhah. " I would like to congratulate........ 921 students this year........ the prime minister say next year would be a though one ahead so spend the money well......... Every year close to 1000 students in our estate(I was like huh a big difference of 79 makes 921 close to 1000 ar?) .......... Happy New Year thank you."
Then everything runs so fast le. Then all of the sudden my turn le. I was like , I hate this part, so awkward & then dunno why my hands felt cold le -.-lll, somemore still need to take picture. Then later jacqueline was like ayo why u look so.... I was nvm la, so sianzz hahhah.
Saw quite afew familiar faces today. Jacqueline, Kar Meng, Denise (BBSS) and two other unknowns from our school.
Then after they finish giving out all the certificates, (which signifies the end of the presentation) we were then given the pay check. How smart the CC, like that we wont run away halfway le. & I was pretty shocked to find that it was only 2.50 pm hahhah.
Oya anyone going jurong point? Pls call me along ok!

Happy new year to all ! This is my first post for the year 2009. hahhah.Spent the first day of the year, yesterday, doing nothing, lazing around at home.I am like hahhah, I got no school tomorrow leh - to my brother.
Then todAY, DAY 2 OF NEW YEAR. hahhah.....
Met Jeremy & pei Jun at Greenridge shopping center. After that we have lunch (jeremy ate dunno what fish & chips , pj & me ate yong tau foo)& next we went to the cake shop , followed by 太子花园whereby we were told that the florist was not in -.- thus we were unable to negotiate the price , as the florist will only be avaliable at 2pm. (ps that florist have lunch from 12pm to 2pm -.-)
Sianzz so we decided to go shopping. hahhah took 961 then change to 153 or dunno what la. hahhah.
First we alighted at a bus stop near Queensway shopping center, and walked to this funny shopping center with lots of warehouse sales. Freeking cheap ok! Almost everything is like going at 70% discount. Saw a blue T-shirt at G2000, which I sort of like. But somehow don't know why. I didnt feel like buying it.
Then we headed to Wing Tai, at hougang, far far place, with the thought that there will be more & bigger warehouses thats having sales.(since that was how it sounded from the newspaper URBAN)But upon arrival, before which required us to enquire quite a handful of people for directions, that Warehouse was pretty empty to me & it offers a rather small selection of clothing for males.
But somehow with the company of jeremy and pei jun I still managed to stay there till pei jun found this retro styled dress. hahhah. Then we rushed back to Bukit Panjang to negoitate with the florists. -.- It was like ayo, they didnt even bother asking anything.早知如此,就慢慢来了!
Then went to Bukit panjang Plaza & ya walk walk........
Then took LRT home. Saw lots of secondary school today, there is this funny feeling lingering in me. Then jeremy started recalling the sec3 memories hahhah. miss them, miss school. & sec 1s are so so cute hahhah But life still has to go on. ......
K, now I shall comment on 2009. I actually agreed with this saying that 2009 is going to be a tough year ahead(for me especially hahhah). With many unfamiliar choices and uncertainities, lying ahead waiting for us to over come. But I bet that it did be a interesting year ahead. 希望一切顺心如意吉祥.
